Billy’s Cafe is a family-owned business in Burlington, established in 2014, that is battling for our freedom. The establishment’s stance is that the decision to wear a mask is “up to Americans and I am not telling them what to do,” stated Bill Dejong during a recent interview with Dori Monson on his Kiro Newsradio show. Billy’s Cafe has not enforced the WA State “crazy rules” that require restaurant patrons to wear a mask from the door as they walk to their table, but when they are seated at the table, patrons are then allowed to take the mask off.
WA State L&I has fined Billy’s Cafe more than $367,000 dollars and recently emptied the business’ bank account of more than $8300, leaving the business unable to make payroll. The owner stated that, “I’m not dumb. I know this is a battle,” he said. “It’s against the state, and it’s not going to be easy, and it’s going to be uphill and it’s going to be tough. … We are willing to fight this battle.”

Billy’s stood up when other businesses surrendered to the mask mandates and they deserve our continuing support. Please bring cash to support this freedom-friendly business!
