-the bill eliminates statewide general elections in odd numbered years
-it eliminates initiatives and referendums in odd numbered years
-it extends the term for elected officials whose term expires during odd numbered years
-it makes the Legislature less accountable to the public. If the Legislature meets every year, people should have the right to hold legislators accountable every year also.
