Written statement:  This bill will increase pay (according to a prototypical school funding model) for school nurses, social workers, psychologists, guidance counselors, safety staff and parent involvement coordinators. Through 2027, more than $729 million will be allocated to the local school districts according to the fiscal notes.  Each school district, large and small, rich and poor, will receive equal allocation. Taxpayers are again being asked to give schools more funding.  When does it stop?  Can we expect better test scores and graduation rates in return?
